  • About Our Early Arrival & After School Programs

Our Early Arrival Program (EAP) and After School Program (ASP) strive to provide an atmosphere where children can play, grow, and learn in a safe and nurturing environment inspired and held up by Montessori principles.

The EAP and ASP are play-based programs infused with Montessori principles intentionally created to engage each child’s interest and nurture learning through discovery and exploration. We offer activities involving art and self-expression, body movement, reading, puzzles, stories, games, and as much outdoor play as weather permits. These programs are designed to meet the needs of families who require caretaking before and/or after the regular school day while providing safe and fun opportunities for children to learn through play.

Athena Montessori Academy

“I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my son’s education. The loving guides at Athena taught him so much more than reading and writing– he’s learned how to take care of himself and those around him while navigating the social community of his classroom. I feel these life skills will serve him well as he graduates and enters first grade in the fall!”
- Rebecca O’Hara (Child now attending Eanes Elementary)
