Joy Jacobson (She/Her)

Hello! 

My name is Joy, and I am Athena's Admissions Director and Registrar.

I grew up in a farming family in North Dakota, graduated from The University of North Dakota, and spent several years working in the nonprofit space in Minneapolis, Minnesota before landing in Austin and at Athena in 2019.

Athena has been a source of so much love, laughter, and growth in. my life, and I look forward to welcoming many of you into our community.

When I'm not at Athena, I enjoy running, cooking, exploring our city's live music and restaurant scenes, yoga, and spending time outside or curled up on the couch with a good book and my dog, Birdie.
