Izzy Christie (They/He)

Hi, I’m Izzy! I love working with children and I am very excited to get to know all the students as a Floater. I fell in love with Athena's warm community and welcoming environment as soon as I stepped foot onto campus. I've previously worked with children in multiple settings as a preschool teacher, swim teacher, summer camp leader, and babysitter. 

Outside of the classroom, my favorite activities are going to the movies with my partner, playing video games, reading any genre of book, crocheting or sewing, playing DnD, and playing board games with my friends and family. I also love to travel, especially anywhere with a beach, natural body of water, or an aquarium. 

I am so grateful to be a part of Athena's team and I cannot wait to meet all the families, and grow and learn with your children every day! If you see me around campus, please stop and say hi!
