Jocelyn Jaimes-Marquez (She/Her)

Hello everyone,

 

My name is Jocelyn Jaimes-Marquez, I have been a part of the Athena community since 2022. I was born and raised in Austin, TX. I attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences. I interned at the Pricilla Pond Flawn Child and Family Laboratory and learned so much about child development and the importance how the first few years of life. However, when I started working at Athena, I was so inspired by the Montessori philosophy. The independence and confidence children get to experience here is so incredible, I have enjoyed my time here and I’m excited to see what next school year has in store. Thank you so much for making this place so special.
