Cesca Longoni (She/Her)

Hi! 

 

My name is Cesca and I am super excited and blessed to be entering my fifth year at Athena!

 

I grew up in San Jose, CA and then made my way to Boston for college. In May of 2021 I graduated from Boston University with a degree in Psychology and then packed up and moved to Texas! During my time in Boston, I spent six months working in a kindergarten classroom and it was such a humbling and rewarding experience. Realizing the impact I was having on young minds was incredibly inspiring. From then on, I knew working with children was a path I wanted to pursue. When I discovered Athena and learned of Athena’s mission and values, I immediately knew it was going to be the perfect place for me to grow! 

 

Four years later and I truly have grown and been inspired in many ways! I am very excited to announce that I am currently enrolled in Age of Montessori to receive my Montessori training and certification to become a Lead Guide and will be taking my final exam this summer! Each year I look forward to expanding my Montessori knowledge and I am so excited to continue my teaching journey! 

 

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read, and create art! 

 

I look forward to another year here at Athena and cannot wait to see how your wonderful children continue to impact my life!
