Isaiah Trevino (He/Him)

Floater
I am excited to be joining the Athena Montessori Academy team and becoming part of such a welcoming and supportive community. I am originally from Harlingen, Texas, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Athena family. Since joining the team, I have truly enjoyed my experience and have seen firsthand how supportive and helpful the administration is. Their encouragement has made the transition into a new environment a positive and welcoming experience.

Coming from a traditional learning center, transitioning into a Montessori environment has been a big change for me. During my time at Athena, I have had the opportunity to observe different classrooms, learn from the teachers, and become familiar with the Montessori approach. Seeing how the classrooms are structured and how teachers encourage independence and learning has given me a new perspective on education. This experience has shown me that I am capable of learning new things, adapting to different environments, and continuing to grow as an educator.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education and have three years of experience working in preschool, along with experience as a Teacher Assistant in special education. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with children with different needs, personalities, and learning styles, while also helping me better understand child development and behavior. I am also currently pursuing my Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. I look forward to bringing my education and previous experiences together as I continue learning and contributing to the Athena community.

Warmly,
Isaiah Trevino

Athena Montessori Academy

Athena is a place to grow as a child, a parent, and a family. We attended for four years for both of our kids, and in a way, the environment truly is infused with magic. But in practice, that magic looks like exceptional educational grounding, deep emotional support, and a staff fully committed to preparing your child—and you—for the next phase of the journey.
