Nina Moreno (She/Her)

My name is Angelina, but feel free to call me Nina! I am so excited to be joining the Athena Montessori community as a Floater! I look forward to working with children from 3 months to 6 years old and supporting each classroom throughout the day.

Growing up as the oldest sibling, I naturally found myself helping care for my younger siblings, and that’s where my passion for working with children first began. Watching them learn, grow, and gain confidence sparked a love for childcare that has continued into my career. I have previous experience working in childcare, and one of my favorite parts of the job is seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they discover something new or accomplish a goal they have been working toward.

I am excited to begin my Montessori journey and learn more about a philosophy that encourages independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. I feel grateful to be joining a community that is so dedicated to nurturing each child’s unique potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the gym, exploring new movies and shows, and painting. I also enjoy finding new ways to grow personally and professionally and am always excited to learn something new.

I am incredibly grateful to be joining the Athena family and can’t wait to meet all of the wonderful children and families. I look forward to creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
