Mily Mandujano (She/Her)

Hello everyone! 

My name is Milagros, but I like to go by Mily. I was born and raised in Austin, but often travel to my parent’s birthplace - Guanajuato, Mexico. Growing up bilingual and exposed to different cultures from a very young age helped me develop into the person I am today. It allowed me to have a deeper understanding with others and a fascination with traveling and exploring the world. 

I am currently attending school for a medical and billing program, with hopes of going to nursing school later. During my free time, I love to draw, paint, and watch foreign films. I also enjoy learning about different cultures and try to learn different languages, which right now is Korean.

In 2021, I was introduced to the childcare field and fell in love with helping little ones grow their minds and explore the world. I’ve had experience with all age groups ranging from 6-week-olds to 5-year-olds. My favorite activities to do with the children are arts and crafts. I believe that providing a safe space where children can explore and are allowed to be curious is of the upmost importance for their development. 

I am super excited to be a part of the community here at Athena and cannot wait to be a form of support for the children and everyone else as well.
