Hello Athena Families!
My name is Brittany Castro Huerta. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and started working at Athena the summer after I graduated high school in 2023. Coming into childcare I immediately felt it was the right fit and I have been loving it ever since. Being able to see the children grow and see their smiling faces everyday fulfills my heart with so much joy! I started as a Support and After School guide before taking over the role as Assistant in the Tots 2 classroom in 2025.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog and my family, as well listening to music, and exploring the outdoors and different food spots in Austin!
