Rocio Lopez-Cortez (She/Her)

Hello families!  

 

I am the Staff Support Manager & Trainer. 

 

This will be my sixth year here at Athena. I have been a Support Guid, an Assistant Guide, and an Interim Lead Guide. I have enjoyed every position that I have held and have learned so much from each one. I am entering my third year as part of the admin team.

I work with our Education Director, Mandy, and all of the admin team very closely to provide our students and teachers with any support and guidance that's needed. 

 

A little about me: I was born and raised here in Austin. My family roots are from Zacatecas, Mexico, where I visit every summer and sometimes during winter break. My husband Jaime and I recently became parents to our sweet boy Javier. We enjoy spending time with our family and our dog, Nico. 

 

I am happy to be in this community!
