Ashley Decherd (She/Her)

Hello, all!

My name is Ashley Decherd, and I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I just recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my Bachelor's in Human Dimensions of Organizations, minoring in both History and German!

I have a strong passion for child-led learning and a deep respect for the individuality of each student. I aim to bring warmth and flexibility to every classroom I step into. It’s my personal goal to foster creativity and confidence in children at every opportunity.

In my free time, I love exploring restaurants, baking, and performing in local theatres. I’m excited to grow alongside the students and staff at Athena and support such a wonderful community.
