Stacie Fox

Hello Athena Families,

I am proud to be at Athena in the office assisting Lisl with administration, billing, enrollment, waiting list applications, tours, and supporting our wonderful staff and families.  Six years ago I helped brainstorm ideas with Lisl when she came to me with only a vision for starting her Montessori school in south Austin.
 
I have previously worked in administrative roles at both Parkside Community Montessori School and Primavera Montessori School.  Most recently I worked in accounting for the non-profit Foundation Communities.  As my dear friend of 20 years, Lisl finally convinced me to come on board full time at Athena.  I am happy to be able to offer my expertise and experience both as a Montessori parent and a Montessori insider. 

I have three children: Mekiah, age 14; Django, age 12; and Bodhi, almost ten.  Mekiah and Django are currently at O’Henry Middle School, and Bodhi is at Barton Hills Elementary.  Lisl introduced me to Montessori years ago, and all three of my boys were Montessori educated.  They attended Montessori schools both in Santa Cruz, California, and in Austin, at Parkside and Primavera. 

My sweet, cute and smart husband, Jonathan Fox, and I have been married 15 years.  We own a contemporary furniture store on South Lamar called Five Elements Furniture, next to Uchi. 

I am excited and thrilled to be here and I am looking forward to getting to know all of our returning and new families. 

I love talking on the phone.  The best way to reach me or get a message to me is to call the office, rather than sending me an email.  You are also welcome to leave notes for me on either end of campus in the black drop box—I check those daily.  I hope to be able to serve you, your children and your family.
