Morgan Frederick

Hi, my name is Morgan Real Frederick, and I am honored to be a returning member of the amazing team here at Athena. I'm really looking forward to sharing my passions with everyone this year -- creative expression, beautifying the environment that I am an integral part of, and working with young children and others interested and active in their own personal growth.

While volunteering at Ambleside School of Fredericksburg I found my pure love for being a part of the learning path of children. I even got so much energy just by being around them that I began waking up before my alarm with an inner excitement for the day ahead. After spending four years working at Starbucks, where I learned many very valuable lessons, I found that I still have a pull towards the guidance and assistance of others in ways greater than what I am able to offer at a coffee house. That is why I feel overjoyed to have found myself at such a genuinely dedicated community with an enormous heart at its core.

Art, creativity, painting, and exploring are all a large part of my life. Having the opportunity to share that as one of the Guides for Creative Day is a dream come true for me. I will also be a Guide in the After School Program as well as a Support for Primary 3, and I am so excited to meet all the wonderful souls that I will be sharing my days with.

This is going to be a fabulous year!
